Nicole: Burke, VA; Hello! My name is Nicole, I recently passed my DES test to become a Digital Event Strategist, along with holding Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certified Government Meeting Professional (CGMP) designations. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from Florida International University. I have Department of the Army training in Instruction, Briefing and Facilitating. In addition to my current work as a Government Contract Event Planner a lot of my experience comes from volunteer work for non-profit organizations and my education at Cameron University. I have hands-on experience in managing projects, planning events, communicating with non profit members,contracting, site selection, vendor relations, organizing and running a non profit yearly community outreach, marketing, social media marketing and analytics, photographer and photography editing, advanced meeting logistics and managing non profit websites and blogs. My educational experience includes training in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Skills, News Writing, Business Writing, Marketing, and Public Relations.
